    Mega Swagbucks

    Friday, October 31st, 2008

If you haven’t visited Swagbucks in awhile, now is the time! The new Mega Swagbucks have just been introduced.

Each search gives you the chance to win up to 100 swagbucks. That means with one search you could win enough bucks to trade for a $10 Amazon, $10 Starbucks, or several other items.

Swagbucks is a website that allows you to search just like you would anywhere else (such as Google) but for every search you have a chance to win swagbucks which can later be traded for prizes. So far I’ve received over $500 in gift cards and prizes!

    Big Devil Is Back!

    Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

Big Devil is a search & win site that has been offline for several months. I was a big fan of Big Devil so I kept checking the page to see if they would open up again.

I was thrilled to check in today and see that they are back! If you were already a member, head back over. All your old login information works.

If you’ve never heard of Big Devil it works pretty much the same as the others. For every search, you have the chance to win either an instant prize (gift cards, paypal, etc.) or points which will be thrown in the monthly sweepstakes drawing at the end of each month.

Invite your friends to join under you and if they win a prize, you win the same prize.

Click here if you would like to sign up at Big Devil.

Looking for more search and win sites? I have a short list on the bottom of this post.

On a side note: Currently on the Big Devil home page there are two ads for survey companies. I wouldn’t suggest either of those.. I’ve never heard of them and they both scream spam to me.

    Search & Win With Luckaroo

    Sunday, September 7th, 2008

UPDATE 11/03/08 : Although I won many prizes from this site, I have yet to receive any of them. I will update this post if anything changes but as of now, I would have to advise you not to waste your time signing up.

Luckaroo is a new (to me anyway) search and win site that gives you the chance to win prizes with every search.

They also have a referral program. If your friend signs up under you and wins a prize, you win the same prize.

I would love to have you as a buddy, if you would like to sign up.

New to Search & Win? Here are the big players..

    Winzy
Swag Bucks (by far the best one out there)
    Blingo
    Lucky Search

What kind of cool stuff have you won from Search & Win sites?

    Swag Buck Tip

    Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

By now you have probably signed up at SwagBucks and are beginning to earn swag bucks on your searches.

If you haven’t signed up yet, basically SwagBucks.com allows you to search the web for things as you normally would but each search gives you the chance to win “Swag Bucks” which can later be traded for prizes. I recently cashed out for a Nintendo DS Lite!

Here is just a quick tip to maximize your prizes.

You’ve probably noticed that there are Search and Win with Everyone sub-sites (Beyonce, Chris Brown, Kiss, etc. etc.). If your looking to earn a celebrity specific prize this won’t apply to you but if your saving for gift cards or any of the big prizes this is important.

Every swag buck you earn is pooled together to make your swag buck total.. However, swag bucks you earn from the sub-sites can not be used at the main prize store, SwagBucks.com.

So let’s say you search and win several swag bucks at the Beyonce site, the Kiss site and the Colts site. These can all be used for prizes at any of those or any of the other Swag Stores BUT NOT the main store at SwagBucks.com.

Why does this matter? Because the prizes at the main store require way less swag bucks then the prizes at the others. For instance, to “buy” a $5 Amazon gift certificate at the main store, it costs 45 Swag Bucks but to “buy” that very same $5 Amazon gift certificate at the Colts Search and Win store it costs 60 Swag Bucks.

My advice? Unless you want a celebrity specific prize ONLY search at the main SwagBucks.com search and win site and ignore the rest.

New to search and win sites? Check out the others:

Winzy - Tons of point wins for sweepstakes entries, $5 Amazon is a somewhat common prize but there are bigger prizes also.

Blingo - Great prizes, no points. My second favorite search and win site even thought I don’t win much.

Lucky Search - Win points to trade for prizes. I don’t win very often but when I do, I cash out for Amazon gift certificates.

PCH - New search and win, same company as Blingo.

Big Devil - Was closed for awhile but now they are back! Updated to say : I’m not sure if they are as good as they used to be.. stay tuned.
