I had to stop by CVS this morning and decided to go ahead and do a quick bit of Extra Bucks shopping…. and made a profit! Gotta love that!
This week you can buy three American Greeting cards and get $3 back in Extra Bucks. They have an entire section of .99 cards.. buy those and get three FREE! I also had a $2 off 3 cards coupon that CVS released awhile back (gone now) which made me a $2 profit.
Combos are $2 a bag and get $2 back in Extra Bucks… FREE! I’m not a huge fan of these but I know my son will have them eaten within about five minutes of seeing the bag. Teenage boys are good to have around for things like this. 
I used a $2.99 Extra Buck from a past shopping trip, paid .21 and got $5 in Extra Bucks back. Nice!
I meant to pick up the Xtra laundry soap as well but forgot. It’s $1.49 a bottle. If you happen to have the $1/2 coupon from the 11/13 SmartSource insert (I don’t, boo) you can get two bottles for just .99 each.

I made a quick trip to CVS on Sunday and totally forgot to post it! Here’s what I picked up this week…
The Softsoap body wash was $2.99 with $2 Extra Bucks. I used a .75 coupon making it just .24.
The RepHresh tampons were $6.79 with $6.79 Extra Bucks, so.. FREE! There is a $1 coupon here but I didn’t have time to print it before going.
On a side note (quick apologizes to the men that may be reading) but I purchased the “Super” variety the last time they were on sale and good lord.. those things are super enormous. So beware of that, I’ll stick with regular.
My final item is the Ritz Crackerfuls (strangely delicious) and it was FREE! I scanned my Extra Bucks card at the red scanner machine and out came a coupon for either a free box of these or a free box Newton Fruit Thins.

OH! I almost forgot.. my stores summer stuff is still at 75% off and I suddenly felt the need to grow something so was happy to see they still had a few ceramic pots left. I bought one big and two small for a little under $2. Nice! Now I just need some dirt.

I wasn’t sure when I’d have time to do my CVS shopping this week so I made a quick 10pm trip on Monday to grab what I could. The only coupons I had was two P&G inserts from the 7/3 paper. Lucky for me, that’s all I needed!
On a side note, CVS was packed! I was in line for like 10 minutes.. the whole time thinking “what are you people doing here! it’s 10pm!”
Here’s what I bought….
1. Oral-B toothbrush : Pay $3.00, Get $1 Extra Bucks (Limit 2)
2. Tampax Pearl tampons : Pay $3.99, Get $2 Extra Bucks (Limit 1)
3. Hershey’s : Pay $1.19
I used two $2 coupons for the toothbrushes making them FREE and a $1 coupon for the tampons making them .99. When I scanned my card it gave me a FREE Hershey’s Air Delight candy bar coupon. It may have been gone before I got home. Heh.. traffic was bad
I used $4 in Extra Bucks and paid $1.76 cash. I received an additional $4 in Extra Bucks for my next trip.
On my way out the people in front of me found a dollar on the ground.. I said “Yay! Dollar!” I’m pretty sure they thought I was being sarcastic but I really meant Yay! Dollar!
The only thing I would like to go back for is the Q-Tip deal. Earn $1 Extra Bucks when you buy 2 boxes making them $1.50 each. More of this weeks CVS deal can be found here.

Pretty impressed with myself getting it together early in the week to go drugstore shopping! I’m lagging on Walgreens but I need to pick up the free 8×10′s from a couple weeks ago so hopefully I’ll get there in the next day or two.
At Rite Aid I picked up two Oral B toothbrushes. They were $2.69 each and you get $2.69 back in UP+ Rewards for each one so, FREE! I also grabbed Excedrin for $1.99. I had a .75 off coupon plus I got $1 back in UP+ Rewards making it only .25. I could have used this $1 coupon to get it FREE.
I had $3 in UP+ Rewards from a previous deal so I used that and ended up paying around $4 and got a little over $6 in UP+ Rewards to use next time.

On to CVS… I had about $28 worth of Extra Bucks from last week burning a hole in my pocket so I went all out. “All out” equals I bought bottled water even though we have a perfectly good water filter jug .. eh, it makes the husband happy (oh and we always recycle! )
Here’s what I bought….
1. TUMS : Pay $3.99, Get $1 Extra Bucks
2. Rephresh tampons : Pay $6.79, Get $6.79 Extra Bucks
3. Pantene : Pay 2/$6.97, Get $2 Extra Bucks
4. Taster’s Choice : Pay $1
5. Xtra laundry soap : Pay $1.49
6. Bottled water : Pay $2.44 + $1.20 CRV
I used a $2 coupon for the TUMS that I got awhile back scanning my card, $3 coupon (6/19 SS) for the Pantene, $1 coupon for the Taster’s Choice (I think it was from a sample), and a $1/2 Xtra coupon (5/1 SS). Here is a $1 coupon that I could have used for the tampons.
In the end I paid around $2 cash and received almost $10 in Extra Bucks for next time. Plus I still have Extra Bucks leftover from last week!
