    BuzzBack Market Research

    Friday, October 31st, 2008

BuzzBack is an online survey company that offers cash in exchange for your opinion.

When an opportunity becomes available you will receive an email. Inside will be a link to the survey and the amount you will be compensated for your time. Generally they pay between $2 and $5 per survey.

You will receive a check for each survey you qualify for and complete. No minimums and you don’t need to request the check, it’s automatically sent.

Surveys for this company tend to fill up quick so when you get an invite, click it right away.

BuzzBack does not currently have a referral or affiliate program that I am aware of.

    In Home Product Testing

    Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

In Home Product Testing offers you the opportunity to test products in exchange for your opinion.

Generally, you will also receive some sort of incentive beyond the product your testing. It’s been awhile but I believe my last test was paid with a $20 Target card.

You will not receive many opportunities but when you do the company always follows through with the product and promised incentive

They do not offer a referral or affiliate program that I am aware of.

    HCD Surveys

    Monday, October 6th, 2008

HCD Surveys is currently my favorite survey site.

Although they cover many survey topics, they host mostly political surveys which ask for your opinion on recent debates, interviews, or just your basic thoughts on candidates.

You earn points for each completed survey which can be traded for cash once your account reaches 1,000 points ($10). Most surveys pay between 100 - 500 points.

They pay by check. I’ve never had any issues with being paid.

HCD Surveys offers a refer a friend program which will pay you 25 points per referral. They do not have an affiliate program that I am aware of.

    Valued Opinions

    Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Valued Opinions is one of my favorite survey sites.

You are paid a dollar amount for each survey completed (typically between $2 - $5) which can be traded for Amazon, iTunes, Macy’s, Marriott, and other gift certificates once your account reaches $20.

Survey opportunities are sent via email and always state the estimated amount of time it should take to complete and the dollar amount being offered. This is always nice so you can decide if it’s worth your time to complete.

I’ve only traded for Amazon gift certificates but have always received them immediately after submitting my request.

Valued Opinions does not have a refer a friend program but they do have an affiliate program located at ShareASale.

    Survey Spot

    Friday, September 19th, 2008

Survey Spot is popular online survey site that offers cash in exchange for your opinion.

Many surveys are for sweepstakes entries but they also have surveys for cash and occasionally you will have the chance to test products.

When you receive a survey opportunity it will say if it’s for sweepstakes entries or a dollar amount. I usually skip over “entry only” surveys and stick with the paid surveys.

After every survey you complete (even if you don’t qualify for it) you will be given the chance to play the instant win game for a chance to win an instant prize or extra sweepstakes entries.

You may cash out once your account reaches $5.00. Survey Spot pays via check. I’ve never had any issues with getting paid.

Survey Spot does not have a permanent affiliate or referral program that I am aware of.

    Brand Institute

    Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

Brand Institute allow participants to share their opinion on products & services in exchange for cash payments.

All surveys that you qualify for and complete will be for a certain dollar amount and paid via check. No minimum payments, you are simply sent a check for each survey.

You won’t receive a ton of surveys from this company but when you do get one, they are always worth the time.

There is no refer a friend or referral program for this company that I am aware of.

    Logical Media

    Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

Logical Media is a great affiliate network to help you earn a little money with your blog or website.

They offer several campaigns for you to promote which include free sample offers, newsletter sign-ups, and normal product purchases.

The great thing about this network is you get a cash payment for each lead you provide the company. The average is around $1.50 but currently goes as low as .75 and has high as $12.00 per lead.

Not all offers I feel comfortable promoting because they do have a few that I would consider spam. But overall, this is a great company to sign up with. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at some of the things you can get paid for promoting.

You will be paid via check once your account reaches $100.00.

As a bonus, Logical Media is currently offering a $25 sign up bonus for all new publishers.

    Survey Savvy

    Monday, September 15th, 2008

Survey Savvy is an online opinion panel that pays cash for your opinions.

Money will be deposited into your Survey Savvy account for every survey you qualify for and complete. Amounts vary for length and type of survey.

One great thing about this company is they allow you to cash out once your account reaches $1.00. So basically if you do one survey your guaranteed a check.

Survey Savvy also has an excellent referral program. You not only are paid for every survey you complete but are also paid for every survey your referrals and their referrals complete.

The only negative for me is that I don’t qualify for many surveys (I also never finished my profile which may have something to do with it). Overall I’ve enjoyed being a member of this panel and have always received my earnings without issue.

    Opinion Outpost

    Saturday, September 13th, 2008

Opinion Outpost is another survey site that pays you for your opinions. You earn “opinion points” for each completed survey which can be traded for cash once your account reaches $5.00 (50 points).

All surveys will state how many points they are worth and the approximate time it should take you to complete. This is nice because if you get a survey offer that is worth 10 points ($1.00) and the time it may take to complete the survey is 20 minutes. You can then decide if $1 is worth 20 minutes of your time or not. In turn, proceeding with the survey or skipping it.

Opinion Outpost offers a refer a friend program and an affiliate program. Both give you $1.00 for every sign up. The refer a friend option adds points to your account (makes cashing out faster) and the affiliate program earnings are set up in a separate account. These checks are automatically sent once your affiliate account reaches $20.

They send payments by check. I have never had any issues with receiving my earnings.

If I had to make one complaint it would be that they choose survey respondents randomly. This means you could receive survey opportunities that you don’t qualify for. Generally, you find out right away if you don’t qualify but sometimes it feels like you’ve taken half the survey and then they say “Sorry, you don’t qualify for this particular survey”, which is annoying.

Overall though I’ve enjoyed being a member of this panel.

    MySurvey

    Thursday, September 11th, 2008

For those of you that have been with me for awhile will remember that I had several posts about survey companies. Unfortunately, when the site was deleted I lost those.

I am beginning the series again so although there will be some repeated information I hope it will be valuable to new readers and easy to skip over for old readers.

MySurvey is probably one of the most popular survey sites and by far one of my favorites. I’ve received hundreds of dollars over the years and tested numerous products for them.

Completed surveys and product tests will earn you points which can be traded for merchandise or cash. Most of the prizes aren’t that great so I always trade my points for cash. This can be done when your account reaches 1,000 points which is $10.

Payments are sent via a check. I’ve always received my payments quickly and without trouble.

They also hold cash sweepstakes several times a year along with the daily 10,000 points giveaway. Everyday they give 10,000 points ($100) to one member just for logging in.

MySurvey also offers a refer a friend program and an affiliate program. Both will earn you 150 points per referral.
