I was recently given the opportunity to try Silk PureAlmond all natural almond milk. I’m a big fan of Silk products so I jumped on the chance.
When you think of Silk products, you probably think of soy milk but this actually has no soy. It’s also free of dairy and saturated fat but still contains as much calcium as a glass of regular milk. As a bonus, the benefits of almonds are right there in your glass.
MY THOUGHTS
I love Silk chocolate soy milk but not so much the vanilla soy milk. I was really just hoping for a happy middle with the almond milk but I ended up falling in love with it.
Silk PureAlmond comes in original and vanilla, I tried the original. I thought it was smooth and creamy, sweet but not to sweet. It was delicious plain and on cereal. Next I plan to use it instead of milk in recipes.
I’m not a huge milk drinker but my son loves milk, he is also not real adventurous when it comes to trying new things that are healthy. I was thrilled when he happily drank a glass and said it “was pretty good”.
