In addition to the whole grain announcement, last month General Mills committed to further reduce sugar in cereals advertised to kids under 12. The company has already been reducing sugar in cereals while increasing key nutrients, such as calcium and vitamin D, and providing whole grain.

Prize includes two coupons for a FREE Big G cereal product, a breakfast chiller, large cereal mug, and tote bag.

1 bobbi March 10, 2010 at 8:42 am: My favorite Big G cereal is the new Chocolate Cheerios…great flavor, not too sweet and I use soy milk with it ( which is lower calories than even skim milk) and it’s an added bonus—chocolate milk in your bowl too..
