For a limited time Coinstar is offering an extra $10 gift card by mail when you take your coins to a participating machine and exchange them for a $40 gift certificate to places like Amazon, iTunes, CVS and more.

When you exchange your coins for a gift card there is no fee.

To receive your free $10 gift card : Convert at least $40 in coins to a gift card at participating Coinstar machines by December 6th, 2009. Complete the claim form found at the end of your Coinstar receipt and send it to the following address :

Claims must be postmarked by 1/6/10 and received by 1/13/10. Bonus $10 gift cards will be sent 6-8 weeks from claim submission.

I would also suggest following Coinstar on Twitter. They are super interactive, fun and generous. I won a $25 iTunes gift card during a Coinstar Twitter party which I received right away in a nice little package.

I was also sent a $10 Starbucks gift card just for interacting on Twitter. That is certainly going above and beyond! I really think little gestures like this definitely go a long way in how people feel about a company.
