Giveaway! French’s Cook-Off 2009

This giveaway has ended. Congrats to Lanie!

Enter the French’s Cook Off 2009 Contest with your original recipe by October 31st, 2009 for your chance to win $25,000!

To enter simply submit an original, unpublished, and created by you recipe that includes at least one French’s product but not more then eight ingredients (with the exception of salt, pepper and water) and can be prepared and ready to serve within 1 hour.

Five finalists will compete in a live cook-off event to be held in New York City and one will win the Grand Prize of $25,000! Four runners up will each receive a new 7-quart Cuisinart Stand Mixer and a 6-month supply of French’s products!

Be sure to also vote for your favorite recipes. The 10 most popular recipes and 10 recipes chosen by the Cookoff juding panel will advance to the semi-finals. The 20 semi-finalists will again be open for another round of online voting from Novemeber 8 to November 25, 2009.

French’s has generously offered to give one lucky My Good Cents reader a French’s Prize Pack.

One comment entry per person. Extra entries can be earned by posting this on a message board, your blog, sharing it on Twitter (one tweet a day) or any other way you choose to promote it. Please leave a separate comment for each entry. Giveaway is open to U.S. residents.

“Piggyback burgers in their pig pen” sounds simple and fun to make. Not to mention yummy!

The Mustard Peppercorn Pork Tenderloin with Cider Sauce and Cinnamon Apples sounds WONDERFUL. Pork and apples =FALL to me! Sadly the hubby is allergic to pork and is not an apple eater, so I cook them for myself. Hopefully our little one will not have the same allergy.

Mustard is a staple in the house as it is among the very few condiments hubby is not allergic to.

The Shrimp Bites sound delicious and easy to make. I would buy frozen pre-peeled shrimp to speed up preparation.
