CVS is offering a free gift when you use your Extra Care Card for the first time in August. The free coupon will print at the bottom of your receipt like Extra Bucks do.
I’ve heard people are getting all sorts of different things. My freebie was a large bar of dark chocolate. This might just be the best freebie of all time!

In the San Diego ad there is a good deal on milk this week. One gallon for $2.29 with $1 Extra Bucks bringing your total to only $1.29 a gallon. Limit one.

That is the best freebie of all time! I got mouthwash, total barf! I would have loved chocolate.

I got CVS brand chapblock, which I heard sells for $1.29, but the coupon is only good for $0.99!!! Crap if you ask me! If it’s true, I’ll be giving CVS a call.
Oh man, I’m bummed! I could have gotten chocolate??? Lucky you! Instead I got the free chapstick too. I didn’t even notice what Nicole said about the price vs coupon value, but that’s exactly what happened – it was $1.29 but the coupon was only for 99 cents!

Wow…I got cheated
. I got the chapblock too (cost $1.29, coupon $0.99). However, my cashier adjusted the price down from $1.29 to $0.99, so it was truly free. But, I would have much preferred chocolate!
I got a roll of paper towels. Free is good!
I got a coupon for CVS lotion!
I got ibuprofen. Chocolate is a much better pain reliever.
Wow all sorts of stuff… I’m happy to get anything for free but I feel pretty lucky to have scored the chocolate!
