Dry Cleaner’s Secret Review And Giveaway

April 21, 2009

in Reviews,Win Stuff

This giveaway has ended. Congrats to Carol D!

I was recently given the opportunity to try Dry Cleaner’s Secret which is basically your own personal dry cleaner in a box!

drycleanerssecret

I had a couple shirts that were dry clean only which of course had been sitting around for some time as I like to take things to the dry cleaners, um.. never so I was happy to give it a try.

I especially liked that there were no bags to mess with just a cleaning cloth. You simply put your items in the dryer, throw in a cloth and let it go for 20 minutes.

Dry Cleaner’s Secret worked perfectly. The shirts looked the same as they did when they went in, were wrinkle free and smelled fresh. I definitely give this product a thumbs up.

Buy It

You can purchase Dry Cleaner’s Secret at most any store or online. The cost is around $10 for a six count box which will clean up to 24 garments. A fraction of what the dry cleaners would cost!

If you would like to give it a try first, Woolite offers a one sheet sample pack which will clean up to 4 garments for only $2.99 shipped.

Win It!

Would you like to win a box of Dry Cleaner’s Secret? There are two ways!

Visit the Dry Cleaner’s Secret site and fill out the short form to be entered to win. They are giving away one six-count box a day!

and/or

Enter here! I have one six count box to give away. To enter, leave a comment on this post telling me what you think you would like best about Dry Cleaner’s Secret or if you have one, tell my a dry cleaning disaster story.

Extra entries can be earned by posting this on a message board, your blog, sharing it on Twitter (one tweet a day) or any other way you choose to promote it. Please leave a separate comment for each entry.

Giveaway will end May 8th, 2009 at noonish PST

I think what I would like best is that I’d be able to dry clean at my convenience – I have a ridiculous pile for the cleaners, and I just don’t seem to get there (and I hate the cost).

We use this and my husband loves it. He uses it for his work pants mostly. He likes there is no bag. I like that he is happy! Would love to get a freebee! :o )

what I like best is that it saves me money at the dry cleaners.

I would love the convenience of doing it at home, not to mention the savings!

The best thing I would like about it is doing it at home. Now i have a couple blouses that are in my closet on the FLOOR, lol, That need a dry cleaning. I know I need to get these done but am lazy to take em in.

finding time to go to the dry cleaners is a pain – i’d love the convenience of doing it at home!

What a great idea – it would definitely save me money. I generally avoid the Dry Clean Only labels. Last time I had something drycleaned, it was ruined and I was told to contact some other company to report and get compensation.

I think the best thing would be to cut our dry cleaning bill. Every little thing helps the budget. This is an area that is quite inflated.

Thanks,
Wendy

I know the best thing I would like about this is that it will help decrease the trips to the dry cleaner! One less errand to do :)

I like the ease and convenience of Dry-cleaners Secret. I would save time and money with Dry-cleaners Secret.

13 cheryl kellery April 21, 2009 at 1:50 pm

These would be great not just for a cost savings but the convenience of using these at a minutes notice in your dryer for immediate results

14 xenia April 21, 2009 at 5:30 pm

Definitely the savings and the convenience. Not only would I not have to spend the money on a dry cleaners, but it seems like my husband and I always have to make a big plan on taking clothes in to get them cleaned. This way, we could do them at home whenever we want! Thanks!

Like you, I too am very loathe to pay high dry cleaner’s fees, plus the tedium of taking them to the place and picking them up at a later time, so I would just LOVE to be able to do this at home for what seems a truly reasonable price!

Thank you for a great giveaway! This would be wonderful to win to save money. I am the same as I never like to go to the dry cleaners so this would be wonderful. Thank you

I wonder if this would be okay for dry clean only bed clothing? My favorite thing about this would be getting my dry clean only clothes done! I have some that have been hanging in the laundry room for well, years. Oops!

I typically avoid clothes that are dry-clean only due to the expense, but it would be nice to be able to integrate a few of those nice pieces into my wardrobe without the worry of such a high cleaning bill!

19 liz April 22, 2009 at 12:10 pm

I hate taking clothes to the dry cleaners. This product sounds great. While I would love a freebie, I’m on my way to pick this up at the store.

20 konnie April 22, 2009 at 4:34 pm

I would love to try it to compare it to Dryel. ( as it did not work at all for me)

21 Pamela S April 22, 2009 at 8:29 pm

It would save me from having to constantly take clothes to the cleaners that are only a “little” dirty .

22 Roxy April 23, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have so many clothes that are dryclean only. In my frustration of never getting to the dry-cleaners, I tend to throw them in the wash and they get ruined! I would love to avoid that.

23 Carol D. April 26, 2009 at 12:47 am

We spend a fortune cleaning my husbands dress shirts, would love to try this to see how it works. I am always looking for ways to save money.

24 Tamara N. April 28, 2009 at 12:14 pm

I often avoid buying dry clean only clothes because of cost and hassle. I hate having to pack up the kids for a short drive, only to have to unload and reload everyone at the store! This will be easy and convenient!

25 Timothy Sternberg April 28, 2009 at 1:12 pm

I think what I would like best is that I’d be able to dry clean at my convenience .

26 One Frugal Girl April 29, 2009 at 6:28 am

I hate going to the drycleaner. I don’t trust all of those chemicals and I’ve heard most of them are toxic waste dumps. I love that you can use this product at home and avoid all of those awful chemicals, not to mention the accumulation of yet another plastic bag.
