Most game stores will exchange your old video games for store credit or cash but did you know you can also trade games online? Here are a few programs that will give you stuff you want for games you don’t.
1. Amazon Video Game Trade-In Program – Exchange PS2, PS3, XBox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, and PSP games for Amazon gift cards.
2. SwagBucks Video Trade-In – Exchange games and consoles for swagbucks. They even accept old games/systems without boxes and instructions.
3. Second Spin will give you cash for your old games, CD’s and DVD’s.
Of course, you could also always sell your games (and anything else) on Ebay or Half.com. You can decide your own price and they take a percentage of your final value.
Want to avoid the dusty pile of games altogether? Try GameFly, the Netflix of video games. A free trial is even available if you want to check it out.
