This giveaway has ended. Congrats to Beth and Katy!

NuruPlanet.com is a company on a mission to provide portable knowledge to the masses. They have developed pocket sized card decks packed full of easy to understand information on several topics including understanding your car, exercise, first aid, golf and personal finance.

I was given the opportunity to check out the Knowledge For Real Life Personal Finance Deck.

Win It!

The deck is broken down into seven main categories; Essential Vocabulary, Personal Planning, Investing, Loans, Retirement, Credit Cards, and Insurance. Within those categories you will find sub-categories with all the information you need to make smart financial decisions for your future.

Each topic has its own card which makes it easy to take in all the information. Take a couple minutes to read one card, let it sink in and then go on to the next when your ready.

Learn more about the Nuru Personal Finance deck at their website, NuruPlanet.com. You can also check out this short video I made.

Would you like to have your own personal finance cards? Nuru has generously offered to give away a deck to 2 lucky winners.

To enter, simply visit their website and leave a comment telling me what topic or feature you find most interesting about the cards.

Only one comment entry per person/household. Of course you can receive extra entries by subscribing or sharing the giveaway on twitter, your blog, forums, etc…. Be sure to leave separate comments for each entry.

Giveaway ends Monday, March 16th, 2009 at noonish PST.

Besides all the great information on the cards I really like that they have a small, metal management ring to keep your cards together. Thats wonderful so I can easily take them with me without worrying about losing them. Thank you for a great giveaway!

I’d like the personal finance cards focused on Retirement!

4 Kristin H February 28, 2009 at 6:52 pm

I’m really interested in the subject of budgeting. I still don’t have that one down, so anything that gets me up and going would be great! The deck of cards on diet and exercise look like a blast! What a great idea!

6 Cortney February 28, 2009 at 6:53 pm

My husband and I need to focus on budgeting, so I think that card would be helpful!

I like that they are quicker than a book and faster than the Internet.

I like the budgeting topic. Thanks for the chance

What a great idea! I personally would love the Finance cards, but I can think of so many other useful applications…like easy-home remedies, outdoors/sporting tips, and a set for dog-owners & cat owners on pet health and wellness.

What I like about these cards is they have information that can be confusing sometimes and it allows you to study a little bit at a time.

11 Katy February 28, 2009 at 6:56 pm

Who has time to read a whole book? I love the fact that these are short little cards…maybe you could keep them in the car and read one during red lights :)

I follow you on Twitter!

My choice would be the exercise cards. I can take them anywhere and I won’t have an excuse.

Darn…I love the price… that’s really an excellent way to learn and not alot to pay. I suggest the continue with set 2 of finance, etc… digging deeper to help learn more things you need to know.

I took a first aid class through the Red Cross many years ago but having these cards would be a good thing to have as a refresher because in an emergency you may just need these cards to keep you calm and focused so I would pick the Emergency First Aid cards. Thanks for Sharing :)

I like the definitions. Despite being a personal finance blogger (talking about my own experiences) and being really good at frugal living, I actually know very little about the field of finance and all the ‘technical’ jargon. These cards look very educational, especially the ones about investing, about which I know zilch.

Thanks for the opportunity.
Penelope
