Do You Twitter?
October 3rd, 2008 by mygoodcentsSo have you jumped on the Twitter train yet? I’ve been a member for a few months and really enjoy it.
If your unfamiliar with Twitter, it’s basically a way for people to stay connected by sharing random tidbits of their day. Many people also use it to promote their website and/or business.
You might even say it’s addicting.
So, what do I tweet? I try and mention when I’ve posted something interesting on the blog. I also tweet random things I’m doing throughout the day and deals that will be gone so quickly there is no reason to post them here.

I use twitter mostly for blog promotion, but when I post personal stuff to ping.fm it also goes to twitter. For social I mainly use plurk, but I also post blog stuff there too.

Personally, I actually use it like a micro-blog. I post short comments about stories or interesting things I find. I don’t actually use it much as a blog promotion tool, it can get a bit boring for your readers.

Katharine : I made a plurk account a few months ago but I just didn’t get what was going on so I never went back… maybe I should check it out again..
Caiush : Yeah, that’s what I think is fun about Twitter… little tidbits… I do post blog stuff but I figure if someone wants to read my blog they will so I try not to over do it..
