How To Pick Fruit & Veggies
August 18th, 2008 by mygoodcentsAs you know I’ve been on a health kick lately and am all about the fruits and veggies. The only problem is I am a complete dummy when it comes produce. I don’t know how to pick anything.
I stand in the produce section picking up random items and inspecting them as if I have a clue. Is this fresh? No? Yes? Maybe, but why doesn’t that lady next to me want it?
The Grocery Coupon Guide recently released a couple of posts that I’m finding quite helpful and I hope they continue with more.
UPDATE : I’m adding to this post as new ones pop up.

I still find it very flattering when I see someone link to me. Thanks and thanks for linking! I always smile when I see that happen.
And, slice that pineapple lengthwise and make sticks out of it. Stick one in a glass of fresh brewed iced tea. OHHHH IT IS Soooooo good! I’ve been to Hawaii a few times and it is one of the things I really enjoy. I don’t know why I don’t do it at home.
I’m trying to eat a lot of fresh things too. I just feel better.
